My Favorite Cream Puffs

Nothing can satisfy my sweet tooth as much as an original vanilla cream puff from the one and only place where I would buy my cream puffs, Beard Papa. At Beard Papa, the art of making cream puff is taken to perfection. The outer shell is freshly made and the cream is injected into the puffs AFTER each order. Therefore, it is best tasted immediately or soon after you receive your cream puff. Every bite through the crispy outer layer is rewarded with the soft, cool, smooth and sweet filling, which tastes just right, not too sweet or fattening.
My mouth waters as I think about how I would slowly savor my next Beard Papa’s original vanilla cream puff. It is too bad that there are only two locations in San Francisco where Beard Papa can be found, and they are both in downtown, too far away to quickly satisfy my frequent cravings. I have tried buying a dozen and saving them in the fridge so I could eat one whenever I wanted, but I soon found out that they do not taste as good with the crust all stale. When there is a Beard Papa in the Inner Sunset, I will sure be a frequent customer!
