Humans of UCSF: On the Right Path

Thursday, January 28, 2016

“I had an unconventional path to medicine, a career direction I never considered as recently as five years ago. I had done a lot of different kinds of work — from business consulting to political campaigns to running a small environmental nonprofit. But I wanted to work with people more one-on-one, and feel more tangibly connected to the change I wanted to see in the world. Medicine does this for me. I feel lucky to be changing directions within a supportive community like UCSF and in such a beautiful location as San Francisco. It’s my first time living on the West Coast, and I’ve already been on some of the most incredible runs of my life.”
