Humans of UCSF: Perfect Harmony

“I first learned about Vocal Chords, UCSF’s one and only a cappella group, through a co-worker of mine, when I was first hired in 2014 at the Blood Bank. Each of the members have our own unique professional associations with the school, but we are brought together by our love for music and for making music through vocal harmony. Having played in band through grade school, performing in my high school musicals, and singing a cappella in college, music has always been an important part of my life. Being a part of Vocal Chords gives me an opportunity to keep expressing one of my passions and create art. It has been a very enriching experience singing with such a talented and amazing group of people, now my good friends, and I plan to continue singing with VC for as long as I possibly can.”
