Mount Monadnock
Traveled to Mount Monadnock, otherwise known as the “mountain that stands alone”. Climbed 3000’ elevation which required scrambling for several stretches of land. I have never been on a hike that required me to go on all fours. It felt primal. Crawling in the dirt with sharp jagged rocks pressing into my soft hands; my salty sweat soaking into the raw cuts of my skin. This photo was taken near the top in a plateau filled with thick dusty grey crested rocks blanked by an ivory fulgid moss. I felt like I was on the moon, a planetary analog. We aren’t in San Francisco anymore.
