Murmurations
The one thing more breathtaking than watching fighter jets thread in a tight bundle through the sky is watching a flock of parrots zip past right afterward, as tightly stacked in formation but numbering more than a dozen. Seeing what animals can do without a lick of fiberglass or fossil fuel, it’s hard not to be jealous. They let out calls from their cherry heads that sound like someone being ferociously tickled. They leave no contrails behind.
