Pizza In The Fog
The San Francisco Bay Area over the past four years has given me immeasurable opportunities to take photos of the fog. However, often, each shot feels inadequate because it rarely captures its all-encompassing presence and truly diverse forms. In this shot, two strangers share a piping hot pizza just a quick walk and climb from the UCSF Parnassus campus at Grandview Park. Their view, ironically, is completely obstructed. My favorite SF subject contributes to this image by juxtaposing its many forms in one: Shrouding but bright. Cold but intimate. Still but dynamic. Commonplace and sublime.
