Sea Lions

This photo captures nap time for the sea lions. Basking in the warmth at the end of the day, the care and connection between the sea lions evokes an atmosphere of community. The softness of the shapes and similar hues of the different sea lions makes it difficult to tell where one sea lion stops and another starts. The soft, golden light lends an added tenderness to the moment. The focus of the photo, the pair of sea lions in the bottom left of the photo, are particularly anthropomorphic. They seem to be comforting each other after a long day.
