Westwood

This photo was taken on my digital camera in Westwood back in Los Angeles. I spent a lot of time admiring the design and style of the buildings by the UCLA campus during my undergraduate years there. I thought the contrast of the high-rise corporate buildings with the local trees and nature was really interesting, and wanted to try to highlight that in this photo. I decided to make this photo black and white to further emphasize the contrast of the tree against the building. I used Lightroom to edit the shadows, contrast, blacks, and whites of the photo.
