Humans of UCSF: Symbiotically Speaking

Friday, April 1, 2016

“One of the first things I quickly learned at UCSF was that I am surrounded by brilliant people who carry massive achievements under their belts. I sometimes face the imposter syndrome, where I doubt my qualifications of being accepted into my program. However, I also learned through my peers that we all contribute our strengths and differences towards the diversity and growth of our school, ultimately reflecting the symbiotic relationship we’ll be experiencing as we work with and depend on other healthcare professions to achieve one goal — focusing on and healing our patients. While each field has its scope of practice, our ‘turfs’ will inevitably overlap and serve as great opportunities for us to learn from one another and move our healthcare service forward.”
