Help Empower UCSF
All levels of University of California students are invited to become a UC Advocacy Network Student Ambassador.
The UC Advocacy Network (UCAN) is a community made up of students, alumni, faculty, and community members who lend their voices to shape state and federal policies promoting the University of California’s mission of education, research and public service.
Student ambassadors will help promote UCAN sign-ups to a wide-range of students on their home campus, gain hands-on experience in public affairs and civic engagement, gain inside look at how the University of California advances policies, and advocate on behalf of UC with legislators at the State Capitol in the spring.
The program runs Feb. 1 to May 30, 2018.
Students may apply here: http://ucal.us/UCANambassador.
Applications are open until Jan. 28, 2018. Both undergraduate and graduate students are encouraged to apply.
