Every day I watch the news
They speak and show countless horrors in the world
But who chooses whom we mourn?
See disaster is striking all over
But our attention spans are not too long
So, who gets the sympathy and condolences from trauma?
Why are we so preoccupied with pointless drama?
The TV is on and their talking about reality stars fighting while the people are suffering
So why are some Ignored while others get attention and love?
Why are some lives worth more?
How do we choose whom we pray for?
