This is a photo of my dog Zayneh who passed away. She was more than just a pet and losing her suddenly with no warning was extremely devastating. It took a great deal of time to come to terms with the loss as nothing ever quite prepares you for losing a loved one. Her loss took its toll but what brings me comfort is knowing that the memories will stay with me forever. “If you were lucky enough to know a great one, they never really leave.
