Synapse: UCSF Student Voices is proud to present the sixth annual science speaker series with Lesley McClurg, KQED health correspondent who’s work regularly airs on numerous NPR and PBS shows.
McClurg has two Edward R. Murrow awards and an Emmy for the 2009 documentary “Green Prison Reform” about a program that teaches inmates about sustainability and helps them turn their lives around behind bars. Don't miss this opportunity!
Enjoy a cup of coffee as McClurg shares her experiences covering health, science and the environment, from medical advancements to California's historic drought to food sustainability. Then follow up with a Q&A session.
