Curious Seagull

This photo captures a moment on the beach during dedicated Step 1 study time (time set aside for medical students to study for their first board exam). The seagull’s dark gray eyes matches the dark water and sand behind it. The seagull stands on a cliff over the water from which it can scan and dive for food; there is still sand on the feathers on its face from its last scavenging attempt. At the moment, the seagull is looking curiously at the photographer with its head slightly tilted to one side. Maybe it is still wondering what happened to this photograph!
