Peace at Stinson Beach
16 miles north of the Golden Gate Bridge lies the gorgeous expanse of Stinson Beach. On this preternaturally warm November day, my classmates and I laid out on the golden sand, people-watching and enjoying the beach in our bathing suits and shorts. Parnassus had been thick with fog in the weeks prior, a metaphorical representation of the rigorous academic block we had just completed. A group of us escaped up north and basked in the warmth of the sun. Despite my general exhaustion from school, I spent that day at peace, a sentiment captured in my favorite image on film.
