Puddle
In the winter, we took daily evening walks at Crane Cove Park, near Mission Bay. I admire the way the park holds space for its industrial history while enabling a new spirit of community. Dogs play on the grass, and on warmer days, people hold family picnics on the beach, presided over by the imposing tower. It rained a lot this year, adding layers of texture to the otherwise endless blue sky, and bringing vibrant green to the hills and parks. In contrast to spring and summer, it was so still on this crisp day that the puddle perfectly mirrored the park.
