Solo Flyer
This photo captures a paraglider’s slow descent into the Pacific Ocean. The line between the sky and water is subtle, leaving an open canvas on which the solo flyer stands out. The flyers point of view must consist, in the forward direction, of pure blue, from both the cloudless sky and shimmering ocean. Behind, the paraglider would be able to see the trees along the shoreline and the pier, providing a natural framing to the coastal landscape. Like the solo flyer, the pier stands out as an unnatural addition along the landscape, a lone man-made structure amidst the beauty of nature.
