Superbloom

This photo captures a still of flowers in the midst of the California superbloom. Much like medical school students, the flowers are in varying stages of growth. Some of the flowers are just green buds, some have white petals pushing through and some have full, wide-open blooms. As seen in the high density of flowers captured in this photo, the flowers at the different stages of their lifecycle are all nestled closely together, sheltered from the elements while they push toward the sun. All together they form the superbloom, just like all the students contribute to the ongoing journey of medical education.
