Humans of UCSF: Perfecting Life Balance

I think it can be hard to strike a balance between being ambitious in one's chosen profession, while also being cognizant of tending to other areas of life. School is busy, but I also have a lot of personal projects and ideas that I want to pursue while I am here at UCSF. On the other hand, I'm recognizing the need to dip into my love for art, music, and nature in order to keep myself healthy, grounded, and whole. It can feel like a tug o' war of time and energy. But ultimately, I'm finding that one can inspire and rejuvenate the other.
