Humans of UCSF: Giving Back

“Every year, dental students at UCSF organize a day of free dental care for kids in the community. Being an SF native, I witnessed firsthand the impact this had and knew I wanted to attend this school that served the people and prioritized giving back. Two years later, I have come full circle and am given the opportunity to be a part of Give Kids a Smile and see just how much more this event has grown. The air of genuine enthusiasm and excitement, the fun decorations, the selfless and community-minded students... everything was phenomenal. At the end of the day, the kid’s smiles warmed my heart and put a even bigger smile on my face!”
